Description

SuperSU is the Superuser access management tool of the future ;
!!! SuperSU requires a rooted device !!!
SuperSU allows for advanced management of Superuser access rights for all the apps on your device that need root. SuperSU has been built from the ground up to counter a number of problems with other Superuser access management tools.

Features include:
- Superuser access prompt
- Superuser access logging
- Superuser access notifications
- Per-app notification configuration
- Temporary unroot
- Deep process detection (no more unknowns)
- Works in recovery (no more segfaulting)
- Works when Android isn't properly booted
- Works with non-standard shell locations
- Always runs in ghost mode
- Wake on prompt
- Convert to /system app
- Complete unroot
- Backup script to survive CyanogenMod nightlies
- Icon selectable from 5 options + invisible
- Theme selectable from 4 options
- Launch from dialer: *#*#1234#*#* or *#*#7873778#*#* (*#*#SUPERSU#*#*)
NOTE: Not all phones take both codes. On some phones you need to use single *# instead of double *#*#
The Pro version additionally offers:
- OTA survival mode (no guarantees)
- Full color-coded command content logging (input/output/error)
- Per-app logging configuration
- Per-app user override
- Grant/deny root to an app for a set amount of time
- PIN protection
- Per-app PIN protection
- Adjust auto-deny countdown

SUPERUSER
This is meant to replace Superuser (if installed), you use either one or the other. You cannot combine them. Statements that this breaks Superuser are therefore completely nonsensical.

NOTICE: A SPECIAL PROCEDURE IS NEEDED FOR UNINSTALLATION. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE APP, DO *NOT* JUST UNINSTALL IT, YOU *WILL* LOSE ROOT.
Superuser access management runs through a so called "su binary". There can be only one of these at a time. So if you install SuperSU, your previous superuser access management solution will no longer operate. So if you want to switch back: (1) Open that application, and search for an option for it to install/update/replace the "su binary". (2) Confirm root-using apps are using the superuser solution you want. (3) Uninstall SuperSU.

IN-APP PURCHASES
These are completely optional and more like donations. They do not unlock any functionality.

Latest update didn't work, it asked for reboot, then said "root undetected" on every launch. Please fix ASAP. Worked fine for years. Samsung Note 2, N7100, 4.4.2 stock w/ root (not anymore!) Update: Installed a 7.1.1 rom and rooted with the latest SU binary, it's working fine now. Increased rating to 5. Full Review

Is pseudopro complete? I wanted to try out SuperSU, but per-app configs aren't being saved. Also, it would be nice if there was a list somewhere (GitHub page?) of common apps that don't work well with mount namespaces instead of (double) rebooting to see if it's causing issues for an app. Anyways nice to see what SuperSU's top features include collaborative editing, file sharing and autocorrect, thanks Google. to suleyman you must have tripped knox when you rooted your phone or you flashed a custom rom / custom recovery and the only way to update your s4 would be to use Samsung kies via pc or download the update from sammobile and then use mobile Odin to flash it on your phone. good luck and remember to use the correct firmware for your s4 Full Review

There are people all over the world working together to make this app awesome. If & when something goes wrong, read what they've written, do it, & it'll all work again - it's really that straightforward. If you can, then help. If you can't help, then just enjoy the freedom that they gave you, or buy the pro version - & support the guys financially in their work. But above all, wrap your head around just what this app does, how simple it makes our lives, & how grateful we all should be. If you can't do anything else, then just say thank you, as it shows our appreciation of what they've done for us... Full Review

EDIT: V2.82 works normally again, on HTC10 rooted stock firmware. su binary update, from .apk, completed without loosing root. OLD: 2.81 still can't update su binary neither from .apk nor from .zip on HTC10 (fails at patching SEPolicy when installing through TWRP recovery). Reverted to 2.79-SR3, which works OK on my device. My ROM Resurrection Remix N for i9300) can work with both Magisk & SuperSU. At first i tried Magisk because it seemed to be what the dev liked. Most unstable ROM I've ever used. Finally in desperation i tried SuperSU instead. I went immediately from 20+ random reboots a day to maybe one, maybe none. Y'all get my vote! Thanks! Full Review

i dont know why you create a 96mb img file when only 3mb is used in it most of it for busybox which doesnt even have to be installed in su partition. if you could offer the option to install smaller img file like 4mb that would be great. Full Review

Are these changes necessary? I can no longer use RootSwitch to switch off my Root and use banking apps. This worked perfectly with 2.79, I'm not sure what was changed but it needs to be changed back. Please don't ruin all these years of Chainfire's hard work by screwing up his app. Time to start looking for an alternative SuperUser. Full Review

You morons need to understand before leaving negative and poor feedback..coding takes a lot of hard works and things are changing everyday. What ever you do there r bugs always to be work on. And team is doing lot of hard work to keep the support for all the devices. Thank you codingcode team for providing the tool. My best wishes to you..keep up the Good work Full Review
