The Grab App requires permissions to the following:

While the convenience is unmatched by other apps, I absolutely hate how you cheat customers by scammy promo codes, the number of times I have received the code and tried to use it on the first day and the app shows its been fully used or I'm not eligible for it? I am proficient in both Thai and English and comply with the terms yet this happens. Reported it 4 times with screenshots, never got replies back. Happened with other friends too. Hope the hype doesn't get to your head Full Review

Your app always indicate fake waiting time. The estimate time is base on distance, but you still have to wait a *ucking 10-15min for driver to complete their previous calls. Best part, your driver can happily cancel with no penalty while user get penalized and charged for canceling. Well done! Full Review

A low quality app. You cannot contact support unless you get into real trouble with driver. While app showing there are over 20 taxi available in 200 meter distance from me, booking fails because all taxi are busy. I haven't been able to book a single cab in past two months Full Review

It has been 2 days I tried to book grab but no drivers are actually accepting my booking. It shows cars nearby but I don't see any names appearing or loading. Grab you have to keep up. Being like this, you'll lose customers. Full Review

1. Most of your Thai drivers do not use GPS and then they get lost. Need to educate them to use GPS. I consistently have driver arriving very late because they got lost. Then they called to ask for the pick up location in Thai, which I do not understand. 2. Messaging system MUST integrate photo capture feature as this feature is a good way to tell the driver on the proper pick up location. Even the ability to share the image of addresses in foreign language would be very helpful. 3. Some voucher codes sent directly to me might not be fully redeemable. 4. Have an English language proficiency rating for your drivers and have it as an feature for users to choose their driver preference. Maybe those drivers which basic English proficiency can be given some incentives. Full Review

Kept having trouble in getting a drivers and at times I get canceled from booking. The fare then change when Im doing the next booking. TheGrab Pay was so troublesome, it does not work with my card which have to trouble me to use my friends card. I gave 2 stars for most driver good attitude. Having promos and only pay using GrabPay? Really? I don't own any debit cards and having promos like this is a waste to me and to the app I'm currently using. You guys really need to work on this otherwise I'll really drop it to a 1-star nonetheless. I use cash most of the time which is MORE CONVENIENT for me. Fix it and I'll give better stars. What is wrong with your application today? Been trying to connect the same since 7.15am and couldn't even managed to access your app for the past 1 hour. If you have server connection failure please get it fix during midnight where your customer are in their wonderland. Not when they are trying to access your app to get things done. Full Review

i cannot log into Grab app after like 20 attempts and the Customer Service person suggested me to use someone else's email account (that has the same dad's name with mine) to try to log in. the security Safer Log In is unabling authentic people to log in to their own account. after almost a week, only then this matter is escalated to the more responsible technician. It was working well no doubt, great app, but recently certain instcances resulted to error. Slow interface or response time causing delays to both drivers and passengers. Everyone is polite and will go the way you want which is great. But recently Grabcar has changed its computer system and it's become less efficient. Frequently you are given a driver as they ate driving past to take someone else far away, this doesn't seem to be calculated into the algorithms. Full Review

It's very helpful and convenient... But some drivers' act making me feel irritated... Last time a driver asked for my phone. I don't know why he's asking.. I thought he's gonna check the route or something... But he took my phone and gave himself 5 stars for his service... I felt so irritated with his act.. I'm so sick of pointing points and calling my drivers every single time of my booking because the point keeps on moving around and makes my driver lost and couldnt trace the exact place i pointed to. Recently i always use it in the morning. Yet Grab always give me the opposite car number from the date. If the date is odd, they give me the even number car. Many drivers who refused to take the order, always ask me to cancel the trip even thought i already explain that my area working is not in even odd regions and if i cancel too often, i will get a suspend. But the driver never understood and insist me to cancel the order with reason "it's not my false. It's system failure", and finally i ended with cancel the trip since i was late to go to office. And sometimes even the driver refuse to take order, the didn't give the notification immediately. Always submit the report to grab, but it seems no improvement, either from the system nor the drivers attitude. And yes not to forget, some drivers was not polite with asking me to head over to their place or complaining about the promo code i use it in the morning trip. And some drivers can not read the GPS location. Full Review

Completely useless. Can never find a driver, even at so-called Grab pick-up points. Over the last two days I've attempted pick-ups at least 5 times and never got a driver despite being in the middle of Bangkok. Uber on the other hand, no problem. Full Review

1. Did not receive promo code in my notification. 2. Let normal/silver users to use advance booking. Some drivers do not know how to read the notes I wrote for them in 3 different languages that I will be there 15min late. They complaint and be very rude to me, even though I apologize and explained that I have wrote a note for them. Add this function for us, it will make my life so much easier. Full Review

I am regularly disappoonted by this service. Wait times will often show as 1 minute but be 10 to 15 minutes. Drivers regularly cancel or fail to appear but do not cancel the booking on the app so I have to cancel for them which affects my rating. Full Review

Service in Baguio gets worse and worse for the people who need it the most. It was useful before but now I dont even use it a lot anymore like I used to. The waiting time is always 20minutes or more. And one time someone finally booked me but cancelled. Full Review

What should I say, till now the app is okay, the drivers are pretty good, but About an hout ago i booked grabcar and got a driver who had to drop off another passanger so I have to wait at least 6 minutes. Ok, cool. This booking is actually for my parents so i have to told them about the booking, the car number etc. I also inform the driver, about where my parents are and their destination which is the same as the booking and what my mother wear. But then the driver was rather rude and told me to cancel it if i dont want to wait too long, cancel because he still have to drop another passanger etc (but in the app he should already on the way) then the 3 minutes become 5 minutes (what the heck? I ask him to cancel, i dont want to be the one who cancel if it actually him who want to cancel) And become 10 minutes. It is canceled about 20 minutes later after i got the booking. So then i call the grab center but the cust service (his name is yoga if i remember it right) said he would look for the case and inform me in the future (which would be just Grab and God who know when).This would not solve any problem but I just hope that Grab indonesia would train or choose drivers who are more polite. (FYI I would always give some tip to driver because I understand the traffic in my country). For this experience I would like to give 1 star/0 star but because till know i got a decent service I give 2 star. Full Review

Massively dissapointing because (i) subpar tech - software (e.g. algo.) does not account for seamless connectivity; (ii) non-inclusive system - unilaterally banned user; and (iii) consistent underestimation of waiting time waiting time. Firm need to (i) beef up on the technical capabilities (engineers and programmer) and enable seamless connectivity; and (ii) Not just focuing on offering promotions and incentives. Go back to basic. Hi, i just want to express my frustration towards grab car apps lately. Idk why looks like grab car price lately really high than uber, it's not affordable for student even honestly my place and collage only take 0.99km but their price is RM5 @ RM6. As a student we will rather take an bus/uber/taxi right now, and sorry to say grab not my favorite apps anymore, which is i mean i really like all of the facilities n services that grab provide until now but it just only a bit pricey for us student to use grab to go our college or comeback home. I hope you will consider my concerns and please bring back our grab apps that we miss before
